1.
Easy 03:30
If there is one thing I know is true Too much life can be bad for you That’s why I’m easy
2.
I want you now Not yesterday Not a minutes time I want you now
3.
If I have to climb a mountain If I need to break the law If i need to cross the ocean Till I reach a foreign shore I'm gonna find her
4.
She’s got that certain something I¹ve never seen before A certain magic I’ve never seen before
5.
I know a man who lives alone Doesn't have a telephone He's all right He's running away from life
6.
Sometimes times I think she's trying To stop herself from crying Sometimes times I think she needs A little time away from me
7.
Used to think that life would be so easy But there’s no use trying round here no more
8.
Too bad, you tried so hard To keep your little secret inside But now your secret’s out And baby you got nowhere to hide
9.
I ain’t got much to call my own No car to drive in, no fancy home Ain’t got no money to throw around Each time I stand up they put me down
10.
Marlena 03:35
Summer sun refused to shine The day that she was born Her mamma cried and everybody Heard her daddy moan Thunderbolts and lightning Shot across a summer sky A rooster crowed just seven times And all the flowers died
11.
We went wild 04:04
You know I had a bad week I didn’t feel too good I had a few things on my mind You know I hate my job But I love my life So I called up a friend of mine
12.
Baby walkin' 02:40
She said she would always stay That’s why she went away I don’t know where she’s been Or if she’ll be back again
13.
You got everything a man could need You keep all the right company You got a wardrobe full of clothes And a 1000 diamond rings But take a look around Take a look around You ain't got a thing
14.
Dilly dally 03:47
I just ain’t your kind of man I’ll never fit inside your plan Certain qualities I lack And maybe that is why I’m holding back
15.
Sometimes the Devil you know Is better than no devil at all
16.
If there is one thing I know is true Too much life can be bad for you That’s why I’m easy

about

DEMOS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY BRIEFLY AVAILABLE ON BANDCAMP IN 2010. SOME TRACKS WOULD HAVE EVENTUALLY BEEN INCLUDED IN REMIXED FORM ON THE FIRST LP EASY, OTHERS ARE DIFFERENT TAKES OR SONGS THAT DID NOT MAKE THE FIRST LP.

After a year sitting on their arses whilst licking their wounds, The Bad Losers are back and will hit the road in Spring 2010!

As a prelude, Equation Records are proud to be releasing the legendary 2006-7 home brew recordings of their formative song creation period from their back garden shed. These performances were originally considered to be merely digitally recorded demos that were indeed later recorded on tape in a "proper" studio in 2008. The latter are currently in the process of being mastered down for a separate release on Equation.

However, the passage of time has revealed that there are masterpieces contained within that may well be the definitive versions of these songs. When the mastered studio recordings surface we can all judge the spontaneous shed creations to their more considered alternatives.

But for now enjoy hearing the magic of four guys capturing the sound of their shared 60s dreams whilst trapped in a cramped space (that was either bitterly cold or swelteringly hot depending upon the season) and enjoying their own company fuelled by the healthy diet of beer, fags and non-PC jokes.

Ladies and gentlemen, raise your glasses to The Bad Losers performing "Out of our shed".

about

The Bad Losers Bristol

The Bad Loser’s formed in 2004 due to a shared love of 60s Garage and Freakbeat.

Their recordings are made in a garden shed which resembles a small Working Men’s Club with carousal competing equally with musical creation.

In the comfort of this environment, the band have settled down to a long period of home recording in search of capturing an appropriate lo-fi sound.
