Well who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? Well who’s right and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? One who devotes his life to Jesus The one who loves a little sin One pins his hopes on life eternal If you ain’t good you won’t get in But who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? The one who fights for Queen and country The one who don’t believe in war One may be dead but he’s a hero One’s gonna live till eighty-four And who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? A whole life is not long So who’s right, and who’s wrong? People that we once respected Doing things no-one suspected Watch the institutions crumble See the reputations tumble One treats his body like a temple One treats his body like a drain One thinks he’s gonna live forever One knows he won’t be here again Well who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong? And who’s right, and who’s wrong?

I always used to hurry I never took my time And anything I wanted I had to make it mine I used to get frustrated ‘Til everything turned red And when I told my mama She smiled and shook her head And said Rome wasn’t built in a day Sometimes you just gotta wait But I just didn’t listen It didn’t make no sense I acted on my feelings ‘Til things got too intense But I was getting nowhere And wasting precious time And when I spoke to mama She told me I’d be fine She said Rome wasn’t built in a day Sometimes you just gotta wait Slowly catchee monkey Prudence is the best philosophy For me And now I take it easy I think before I speak I weigh up situations I look before I leap I’m never in a hurry I always have a plan I listened to my mama And now I understand She said Rome wasn’t built in a day Sometimes you just gotta wait Rome wasn’t built in a day Sometimes you just gotta wait

I’m living in a world of my creation I’m cleaning out the cobwebs from my mind I’m in a state of permanent elation And leaving all the everyday behind All the fears and all the worries Suddenly don’t mean a thing Step inside I’m in a hurry Winter’s turning into spring I’m seeing things from the other side I’m seeing things from the other side I’m seeing things from the other side My visions are crystal clear I’m flying above the stars I’m looking inside a dream I’m looking to where you are Where you are And I’m seeing things I’ve had a little time for some reflection I’m shaking off the chains that had me bound I’m heading in alternative directions I feel my senses turning upside down Please don’t ask me to reveal it Please don’t ask me to explain Something’s changed and I can feel it Nothing seems to be the same I’m seeing things from the other side I’m seeing things from the other side I’m seeing things from the other side

Sorry 04:08
She’ll be alone Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone The bridge is burned The worm has turned Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone She didn’t even turn around She didn’t even turn around She took a flight, thief in the night She didn’t even turn around You think you’ll find the pasture’s greener You think you’ll find a rainbow’s end This mean old world is getting meaner And you haven’t got a friend She said she’d never change her mind She said she’d never change her mind It wasn’t true, I wouldn’t do She said she’d never change her mind Your sins will catch you in the morning And there’ll be no-one else to blame The devil’s waiting round the corner And he’s gonna make a claim And when she finds Her big adventure’s over And if she feels She’s ready to come home And when she needs Someone big and strong to hold her She’ll be alone Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone I’ll get along, I’ll prove you wrong Girl you’ll be sorry now you’re gone One day I’m gonna make the big time One day I’m gonna make the grade I’m gonna be there when you’re cryin’ About the big mistake you made

I'm Hurt 03:18
My oh my I’m broke My oh my I’m blue And I’ve been losing my mind about you You said I was a fool And you said I was a flirt You say your feelings have died, I’m hurt I never saw it coming I thought she was my woman But I just didn’t see While I was busy dreaming That girl was busy scheming Oh how, could she, do that, to me? She’s gone, taken her clothes And she’s been dishing up dirt And she won’t answer my calls, I’m hurt One day she’ll know just what she’s done to me And she’ll be sorry when She wants me back, before too long And it’s too late, ‘cos I’ll be gone Her mother is excited Her daddy is delighted Cos’ she’s got rid of me They wanted her to marry A Willy or a Harry And raise a happy family I’m a reasonable man But she gave me a raw deal I’ve tried so hard to deny But it’s real My friends say give it some time But time’s just making it worse But there’s no fixing this heart, I’m hurt Yay, yay, yay I’m hurt
6.
Once I believed in you, the answer to my prayers Once I believed in you, but you just didn’t care And after all this time, I don’t know you at all This time I won’t be there to pick you up each time, you fall Shrinking circles slowly dragging you down Shrinking circles slowly dragging you down Down to the bottom of a crimson tide One way ticket for a one way ride Shrinking circles slowly dragging you down Once I believed in you but you were telling lies You took away the joys and ruined all the highs The empty promises that never came to be Too many broken hearts have finally got the best, of me

Cry Cry Cry 03:32
Well I used to be so happy Well I used to be the one Opportunities kept knockin’ Spent my whole life in the sun I had money in my pocket I was warm and I was dry Didn’t think about tomorrow So somebody tell me why I just cry cry cry, I just cry cry cry I Just cry cry cry, all the time Don’t know why why why Don’t know why why why I just cry cry cry, all the time Don’t remember when it started Seemed to creep up from behind I just didn’t see it coming Never paid it any mind Was it something in the water? Was it something that I said? I can change my situation But I just can’t change my head
8.
See you getting all excited See you smiling all the time You got something on your finger You got something on your mind And I heard a little rumour You been making future plans And I bet you wouldn’t listen But you need to understand I know him baby - he ain’t the kind Don’t need no worries, weighing on his mind Well you think you’re gonna tame him Thinks he needs to be arranged And he loves how much you love him And he swears he’s gonna change Gonna be some compromising There’s so many bills to pay No more weekends in the country No more time to get away And you love him baby, but you ought to know He’s still a dreamer, he’s a rolling stone Bells are ringing, people singing Taking pictures, drinking wine And somebody told me, he ain’t around A bird can’t be happy, living on the ground
9.
I see her every morning on my street I wonder where she goes and who she meets In my dreams I see She’s walking out with me But something tells me that will never be Sometimes, I don’t know why I even try So shy, I don’t know why I even try I know I’m just an ordinary guy But if I had a minute of her time She would know I’m real And how I really feel But if she turned around I think I’d die Sometimes, I don’t know why I even try So shy, I don’t know why I even try Guess, I’ll have to face reality I can’t give her anything Except my soul and that’s for free But sometimes, I don’t know why I even try So shy, I don’t know why I even try

Like A Train 04:35
You hear me coming down the line Fire is loaded burning bright I never stick around too long Turn your head and I’ll be gone Because I move like a train I move like a train If I’m passing through your town I’ll pick you up and I’ll let you down You climb on board step inside Gonna take you for a ride I’m building up a head of steam There ain’t no place that I ain’t been Because I move like a train And I move like a train Buy your ticket, get on board Ring my bell and pull my cord Hear me calling baby Well I ain’t no Casey Jones Woo woo Driving on through the night Backwood country city lights Heading for the next sunrise Settle down and close your eyes Because I move like a train I move like a train If I’m passing through your town I’ll pick you up and I’ll let you down Woo woo

OK By Me 02:20
Well if you’re always troubled And if your always down Feel disassociated Don’t recognise your town And if you’re having trouble Just being what they want you to be You’re OK by me Do you ever get the feeling You’ve seen it all before? And if the politicians Can’t reach you anymore And if your crystal vision Can’t see what they want you to see You’re OK by me A millionaire is talking on my TV He’s saying I should live within my means But man you can’t afford to take it easy You’re gonna die if you don’t eat your greens If everbody’s talking And you don’t hear a thing And if the world keeps turning And you’re just standing still And if you’re always bothered By people, who won’t let you be You’re OK by me
12.
I’m searching for something I’m falling behind I need a connection I’m hoping to find A way to believe in For feeling alive A world without reason A world without crying Only see a sad solution, but I’ve gotta try All alone in my confusion, time is passing by And it’s a lonely loving time And it’s a lonely loving time And it’s a lonely loving time And it’s a lonely loving time The ordinary people I envy their lives They’re walking in sunshine I walk in the night I walk in the night The ordinary people I envy their lives They’re walking in sunshine I walk in the night But nobody sees me I’m wearing a shroud Just one of the lonely A face in the crowd Never ending situation, it seems to me Happiness and sweet salvation, will never be And it’s a lonely loving time And it’s a lonely loving time

about

The Bad Losers Bristol

The Bad Loser’s formed in 2004 due to a shared love of 60s Garage and Freakbeat.

Their recordings are made in a garden shed which resembles a small Working Men’s Club with carousal competing equally with musical creation.

In the comfort of this environment, the band have settled down to a long period of home recording in search of capturing an appropriate lo-fi sound.
